Summary:

I am currently working in State Street on Data Warehouse, which is an Enterprise Service Application (ESP). The data is uploaded using feeds which are verified in Squirrel database and in reports. This is all done in Agile environment.

In Roam data, I have done white box testing and black box testing in a C# environment. I have extensive experience working in a .NET framework. For web applications, I used Selenium with .Net Framework. For Automation Scripts and Mobile Android Applications, I used Appium tool.

FundQuest is a Asset Management Company, it provides model portfolios that combine funds suiting the clients. It covers most of the asset classes both active and passive funds (ETF’S). At FundQuest, I used visual studio.

Worked in C# environment in Open Solutions and GE Interlogix. I have extensive experience in automated testing using QTP as well as developing testing tools in C#. Worked in Sallie Mae where I used SQL extensively.

The application has Categories, Data Marts, Feeds and Reports. Based on the Client requirements Data Marts are created and data is loaded through feeds.

Responsibilities:

●Understanding the user stories and writing the test cases for those stories.

●Testing the Reports and making sure that the data is displayed correctly.

●Creating Test Data and loading the feed files and making sure the data is uploaded correctly.

●Comparing the Squirrel database with reports.

QA Engineer

This project involved video surveillance with the ability to detect people. GE Video Surveillance consisted of two projects; Video IQ and VVM. Both projects are used to detect human, vehicle presence.

Video IQ –This software has the ability to detect people accurately-not just by shape and color-but how they act. So it can look at video from your surveillance cameras and send an alert if the people are in the area where they are not supposed to be. This software can distinguish between people and other moving foreground objects like dogs or cars. It can also learn to ignore repetitive background motion .Video IQ can even teach itself a new background without any programming. The video clip can be sent over to a surveillance center (using Ethernet or internet).

VVM - Video IQ is mostly used for outdoor surveillance while VVM is used for indoor Surveillance. This software has ability to identify people even in dark areas. This software accurately detects people in the area where they are not supposed to be and has the ability to send the video clip to the surveillance center, cell phone or camera phone.

Environment: Windows XP, C++, SQL Server, C# & .Net technologies.

Responsibilities

●Reviewed and analyzed business requirements, functional and technical specifications documents and translated them to test requirements.

●Performed smoke testing prior to accepting the builds to the QA environment

QA Engineer (Black box Testing)

M2 from Light Labs, features the next generation of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). OCT is a new high-resolution high-speed imaging modality that uses advanced photonics for imaging and tissue characterization. Our mission is to help physicians make earlier and more accurate diagnosis of a wide range of diseases including heart disease and cancer. OCT combines the principles of ultrasound with the imaging performance of a microscope and this ultrasound produces images from backscattered sound.

The whole OCT System is controlled by the software loaded on the system. User can view the images generated by the OCT System and he can make snap shots recording to the images. The System is connected to a PIU (Patient Interface Unit) .The PIU has an Image wire connected to it. This image wire will be inserted into the patient. The OCT has 3 modules, Cardiology 20 Gastroenterology and Microscop.

Environment: Windows XP, C++, and MS Access.

Responsibilities:

●Worked independently as the only QA person on staff

●Prepared Test plan and Test cases for new functionality.

●Used Element tool for bug tracking.

●Created compliance Test Results Summary, including a performance and functionality gap analysis, based on the results of testing.
