Academic Project: Engine Life Enhancement Using Automatic Ignition Technique

To ensure the long life for car, we introduced the system of automation to ignite the car engine when it is in rest for more than 48 hours. When the engine is in rest for more than a day, during starting it will make rusty and dusty things. To avoid this, we decided to incorporate an automotive ignition using CMOS battery and microcontroller. Our ultimate aim is to start on the timer of CMOS, when the car is turned off. If the car is not turned again within 48 hours, our system will ignite the car engine once for a while and it will run for the specified time. So, such a way, we keep our ignition system as sharp and active as much as possible. There by we can strongly increase the life time of the ignition system.
