Senior Clinical eCW Analyst managing the eClinicalWorks (eCW V10) EMR for the hospital’s 18 outpatient clinics as they transitioned over to the athenahealth EMR. Daily responsibilities included training front-end users, troubleshooting program issues, and communicating with department heads to aid in any request regarding eCW. Utilized eCW eBO to run reports regularly for different departments to find billing trends. Assisted with the enrollment of providers in electronic prescription for controlled substances (ePCS) in Allscripts as required by New York State regulations.

Downtown Women OB/GYN Associates: April 2015 – September 2015

eCW HIT Manager for the largest, private OB/GYN office in New York City. In charge of the maintenance and optimization of the practice’s EMR (eCW V10) while managing a staff of 50+ employees on a daily basis– 17 of which were providers. Worked with busy physicians and nurse practitioners to troubleshoot any problems encountered within eCW in an efficient manner while installing and training staff members in system upgrades. Enhanced the Patient Portal and eClinical Messenger to send out results/reminders reducing the number of calls needed to be made, which also lead to a decrease of incoming calls by 20%. Researched and provided a proposal to adopt the Healow, eClinical Touch/Kiosk, and eClinical Mobile applications for the practice. Launched the installation of Dragon Medical speech recognition for multiple physicians to enhance EMR charting and improve the practice’s overall workflow eventually leading to an increase in patients seen, and, subsequently, an increase in revenue.

Arcadia Healthcare Solutions (Contract): April 2014 – April 2015

Practice Consultant for a group that focused on planning, implementing, and optimizing EMR use in healthcare environments. Managed and participated in GoLives for ambulatory practices throughout the country to rollout and teach new EMR programs, specifically athenahealth and eCW, to staff transitioning from different EMR platforms and paper records. Worked directly with department heads, superusers, and other staff to outline goals while also updating them with status reports on a daily basis.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia: April 2013 – March 2014
