INTERESTS: Active Lifestyle – I believe a healthy body is the key to a focused mind in today’s hectic society. I enjoy a range of sports and training exercises which keeps my mind and body refreshed and capable. These exercises and sports require a dedicated mind set along with determination to reach the target or goal that have been self set.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

6 June 2016 – present
I was employed by Homemark as a sales representative and an area manager, managing thirty nine promoters, throughout the North and South of Johannesburg and in the Vaal area. My duties were to manage promoters, set up promotions and also to check on the stock reports and ensure that the stock counts were correct according to the reports on hand, correcting counts on said system, dealing with shrinkage, inter branch transfers “IBT”, dealing with returns and customer repairs and ensuring that all stock was displayed on the sales floor and promotional court and to ensure as much visibility on all products as possible, also to build long and lasting relationships with the buyers and managers in all key accounts and arrange bulk deals and displays. I called on all the major “big five” retailers, Makro, Checkers Hyper, Pick ‘n Pay Hyper, Game, Builders Warehouse/Express, Dion Wired and also small Checkers.

Although I was happy in my position unfortunately I found myself in a similar situation as I was within GMK Marketing and decided to look for a more stable company within sales, marketing and FMCG.

To do returns on damages and expired stock
Organize promotions
Organize stands, shelve talkers, banners, wobblers etc
To make, organize orders/PO’s and large deals wherever possible
To ensure shelve stock and backup stock in all stores on all lines for all suppliers wherever possible

GMK Marketing

I was employed as a sales representative and managing three roaming merchandisers. I called on major food chain stores such as Spar, Clicks, Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers and Shoprite stores in the Kempton Park, Midrand and Edenvale areas. I called on these areas weekly for a large range of suppliers, each having an extensive range of variables.

I’ve done promotional work for Visa World Cup Soccer 2010 which included visual displays and giveaways and have also done a lot of part time work (at the weekends) for entertainment and catering companies in various venues such as music concerts were I worked as a barman e.g. Black Eyed Peas concert and Bell’s fest 1and 2.
MOTIVATIONAL
All of my work experiences have involved working within a team-based culture. This involved team planning, organisation, co-ordination and commitment.
