To establish a career in engineering where I can demonstrate the learning outcomes of the Mechanical Engineering program of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), a program accredited by the US-based outcomes-oriented ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), Engineering Accreditation Commission.

Design Projects:

FLUID MACHINERY DESIGN – An individual project which includes the ideal design of piping network (theoretical and actual flow), water tanks, series and parallel piping and hydro power plant using basic engineering formulas and principles.

POWER TRANSMISSION DESIGN – This design project is an application of the course, Machine Design 2 (MEP 423D1), is designed for students to easily understand and analyze the Power Transmission, Transmission Shaft, Journal Bearings, Ball Bearings, Flat Belts, V-Belts, Power Chain, Rectangular Keys, and Spur Gear Design. Each part of this design compilation is designed to deal with the concepts, principles and theories of Machine Design.

AIR CONDITIONING – a group project which involves the application of heating, ventilation and air conditioning using basic engineering formulas and principles.

DESIGN OF 50,000KW HYDRO POWER PLANT AND 5,000KW STEAM POWER PLANT- A pair project which includes the design of dam, surge tank and penstock in Hydro Power Plant and Design of Boiler, Economizer, Superheater, Air Preheater, Stack etc. using basic engineering formulas and principles and in Power Plant Engineering.

Researches:

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A 60 WATTS THREE-BLADED THREE-STAGED SAVONIUS DRAG BASED VERTICAL AXIS WIND TURBINE AS A DOMESTIC HOUSEHOLD ENERGY SOURCE IN SITIO MAHABANG SAPA, BARANGAY HALAYHAYIN, PILILLA, RIZAL- this capstone project is about the new type of vertical wind turbine, savonius which is S-Shaped and aerodynamics is drag force. Prototype will help the community in Barangay Halayhayin because they do not have an electricity in their town.
