National Level paper presentation- Microwave based Tissue heating (AICTE-2011)
Presuming electromagnetic energy to be delivered via a catheter to a precise location in a coronary artery for selective heating of a targeted atherosclerotic lesion.
Main aim was to analyze the acoustic and electromagnetic waves as therapeutic rather than diagnostic applications
Balloon Angioplasty, Microwave Assisted Balloon Angioplasty and Microwave Cardiac Ablation were studied to understand the depth to which microwaves can penetrate tissues
Regional Level paper presentation- Voice Morphing (IET-2011)
Focus was on attaining high security by changing one speech signal of the user into another
Shared characteristics of the starting and ending signals were kept constant while changing the other properties
Cross fading of envelope information, Dynamic Time Warping to match the major signal features (pitch) and Signal Re-estimation were studied for transaction
