HealthTrio Data Extract Remediation:

Responsibilities:

As a QA lead for HealthTrio data extract Remediation project, I was responsible in writing the Test plan based on the business requirement document.

Worked with the BA on the business requirement document.

Test Cases and Test scripts were created for member, customer, product and claim extracts.

Validation of the individual extracts with the SOAP/UI and also performed high level validation in XRM.

Validation of file format, file content, file display in the interface and file delivery to make sure the files are loaded successfully to HT beta.

Resolution Interface functionality in HPHConnect, provide a opportunity both to employers and enrollment & billing associates (EA) to fix errors in enrollment transaction sent to HPHC, before, they are sent to the EDI platform, as a file what is commonly called the Resolution Interface file.

The enrollment records in this file are put through the EDI process, and if no further errors are found, sent to Amisys.

CNG Product Configuration:

OHI BackOffice is healthcare claims system for claims processing and adjudication. Legacy system has been replaced with Oracle product OHI (Claims Adjudication System). This system needs to be configured with various products, building blocks, code sets, providers, members, operational business rules, limits and guiding principles so that claims can be appropriately adjudicated for the subscribers.

A product has a collection of benefits, i.e. a Schedule of Benefits, as contracted by one or more members.

The Schedule of Benefits specifies in natural language

- What medical procedures are covered?

- How much is covered?

- Under what conditions

- Up to what maximum amount or number

Claims needs a formalized description of all these rules to calculate the benefits for a claim, i.e. an executable product. Benefits for the product is specified in terms of Benefit Specifications and all these specifications needs to be configured in OHI based on different plans & products implemented in HPHC.

Responsibilities:

Involved in the development of test plans, test cases and expected results, and coordinated the tests with the QA team to verify implementation of new features and enhancements.
