Responsible for application development Agile Scrum process improvement and Requirements Management subject matter expertise on a U.S. Department of Defense account supporting a Medical Logistics Application.

Coordinated creation and implementation of an Agile Scrum development methodology across the client organization. Process was responsible for decreasing product increment release cycles from yearly to quarterly, and improving product quality.

oEstablished strategy and approach to transform customer software development from a traditional SDLC methodology to Agile methodology.

oWorked with the client to author a “tailored agile” approach, plan and deploy a pilot scrum team, followed by a “scrum-of-scrums” comprised of 6 high-performing teams across the organization supporting a complex system.

oLead the development and execution plan to support the transformation to Agile methodology, including development of processes, templates, artifacts, training materials, and lessons-learned.

Drives the continuous improvement of the agile scrum methodology by applying Deming’s Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle. Using output from Retrospective meetings, began a grass-roots program of initiating spur-of-the-moment “Tiger Teams” as needed, in which members of my team and I facilitate efforts to eliminate or minimize scrum team impediments. This enables my team to deliver value quickly, resulting in refinements to the overall process, and helping to drive agile maturity.
