Worked as a Party Chief on 2 man crew doing TOPO projects, construction staking and setting
control. Used GPS and conventional “Leica” equipment.
Sam Inc. Survey and Mapping Austin, Tx. 2010 to 2015
Worked as Party Chief in south Texas on three different pipeline projects. Promoted to Sr. Party
Chief early on and became responsible for coordinating the daily task of other crews. Worked closely
with the construction contractor and other sub contractors. After the completion of the Texas projects
moved to East Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and started work on 117 miles of 20” line for Enterprise
Pipeline Company. This project included all preliminary work, field survey & staking, plat generation for permitting and ROW acquisition, construction staking, as-built surveys and data collection. This project
was completed in December 2013,after short break moved back to west Texas and worked on 20” line
near Fort Stockton, TX. for several months, then moved on to the Rancho Expansion Project in
Houston TX. and worked the 86 mile project there until late 2015.

Worked as a Survey Party Chief on the “Trans Canada” Pipeline project. Working mostly independent
and in many different states, I was directly responsible through the use of GPS to collect data pertaining
to the position and depth of the pipeline, also staking right-of-ways and extra work spaces. Responsible
for company vehicle and 4-wheeler. Worked closely with environmentalist on sensitive areas marking
boundaries and maintaining proper access to project.

Worked as a survey Party Chief on the "Rockies Express Pipeline" a 42" natural gas pipeline that runs across the United States. Responsibilities included data collection through GPS on the exact
position of the pipeline, working closely with the construction contractor and environmentalist on the right-of-way boundaries, worked with inspectors to assure correct position and proper construction
procedures were followed.

Worked with a survey crew staking right-of-ways for major 42" natural gas line through Wyoming (Rockies Express); and continuing into Nebraska. Promoted to Party Chief and became responsible for the collection of data pertaining to the pipeline using GPS, keeping a clear and defined right of way, assisting the general contractor with direction of the pipeline, and marking and working closely with environmental personnel.
