Job Responsibility at Infosys Technologies:

Infosys BPO is the BPO (business process outsourcing) subsidiary of Infosys Technologies. The company was started in April 2002 and is today among the Top 10 third-party BPOs in India according to NASSCOM.

Project Details

Title : SMEH/EZT/BOPS(July 2004 - till date – Infosys BPO)

Client : British Telecomm, UK

The client is a major Telecom giant headquartered in UK.

BT Customer Database (CSS) is enhanced with a User Interface, which is used by the voice advisors on calls. This user interface creates errors due to agent errors, product/service compatibility, customer compatibility, customer account issues. These errors are pushed on to a Queue called SMEH. This queue needs to be accessed the team and based upon the analysis results the customer account needs to made compliant.

Job Responsibility:

To meet the client specified SLA’s.

Operational Excellence by principle of Transformation of BPO.

Improve process through process, people and technology.

Auditing the reports done by advisors.

Giving feed backs for the improvement of the process.

Additional Responsibility:

Additional Responsibility to train and mentor two new batches of new recruits was assigned.

Has been assigned to work on five transition queues on a trial basis two capture the queries and for proper documentation.

Has been working for voice process once in a week for observation of the process errors.

Has been taking care of the documentation of process update as per ISO standards.
