I have gained over fifteen (15) years of broad-based Human Resources experience, including: Corporate Recruitment (Full life-cycle), Employee-Relations, Conducting Investigations, Benefits Administration, Policies/Procedures/Best Practices, and Payroll. Work experience

2001-2016 Human Resources Generalist, Adecco USA

Managed Human Resources duties for multiple locations as well as a manufacturing facility in Laurel. Supported over 200 employees at any given moment. Responsibilities included: Corporate recruiting, conducting interviews, processing payroll, benefits administration, conducting employee-relations, administering tests to applicants, maintenance of HR records, conducting new hire orientation, and was responsible for conducting various types of HR-related investigations, such as substance abuse and sexual harassment. Benefits responsibilities included working with matters such as FMLA, unemployment claims, and disability. It was also important for me to pursue various College & University Talent for the organization as well. I have been very fortunate to work with both blue as well as white-collar and Executive/Management level and Medical positions as well. Additional responsibilities included processing background checks and drug screens for new employees, reviewing and managing the new-hire process, onboarding and maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.

2001-2001 Sales & Service Representative, Farmers & Mechanics Bank (Now a division of PNC Bank)

Responsible for various duties at the bank, such as bringing in new revenue, opening new accounts, making referrals to other lines of business, performing teller duties, and providing outstanding customer service.

2000-2000 Sales Representative, Farmers Insurance Group

Responsible for selling various personal insurance products, such as auto, homeowners, marine, excess liability policies and when appropriate, making referrals to other lines of business. Provided high level customer-service with additional responsibilities as an Underwriter. Obtained State of Maryland P&C license.

1996-2000 Sales Representative, Bill Pigg’s Pressure Washing

Responsible for servicing the current customer base as well as gaining new business through up-selling. This was accomplished through various tactics, from cold calling to asking for referrals, and going door-to-door for sales presentations. Additional responsibilities included management of advertising and special discount programs.

1993-1996 Accounts Receivable / Billing Representative, Quest Diagnostics, Inc.

Responsible for contacting customers to obtain additional information regarding their accounts and to make payment arrangements as needed. Submitted medical claims to various insurance carriers. Started out as a Collections Representative, then promoted a year later to a Billing Representative.
