Emetrics collects logs from 50 Sun.com country sites +5 internal sites, strips the unessential data in the pre-processing step and loads the logs into the database. Reports are generated on all the above sites from this database using three different reporting tools (HTML Reporter, Reporter Site and Desktop Client Reporter). As a System Test Engineer responsible for automation, quality and on time delivery of Emetrics releases.

Roles and responsibilities include:

Worked closely with developers during Integration testing and played a key role during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Responsible for Manual Testing of Log file differences, database records, and Reports using shell and Perl scripts and data validations performed using SQL for back-end testing.
