Manufacturing Engineer / Aerospace Assembly Supervisor

Started as Manufacturing Engineer duties included working with aerospace companies to receive approvals needed for shop productions, instilling bushing bearing rivets and sealing of aerospace components. As aerospace production was started at Dynomax, production shop had to be set up, employs had to be hired and trained, shop tools acquired. In 2014, I became the Aerospace Assembly Supervisor. Duties now included reporting daily man-hours, overseeing production, maintaining a clean safe production shop. Additional dusts, setting up parts crib, inventory control parts, maintain calibrated tools, overseeing engineer drawing for shop production and production work instruction.

Spirit Aero Systems (8/2/2012 - 12/21/2012)

Manufacturing Engineer

Duties included daily status taking, checking status to master scheduling, building recover plans as needed, monitoring cost, implementing; Lean/Six Sigma projects. Two to three hours a night using Enovia / Catia 5 supporting the shop to define the build process. For the Gulfstream G280 Wing shop, this is a new line for Spirit.

Duties part of the 3M Team working for Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, Indiana. Support for the JSF Lift Fan, Part Kitting. Flight case for shipping part from plant to plant in the Indianapolis, WIP carts for moving parts in the plants. Finished Packaging for T-900, T-1000 and V2500 Fan Disks and IP Disks and WIP totes and carts for moving around in the shop at Crosspointe, VA.
