Achievements

Construction Companies Heavy Civil:

• Meadowvale North Feeder Main: value of extras over $1.7M and 33% of project was deleted from contract due to project overruns. After discussion with Region and Engineers, I prepared costs for loss of profit and already purchased materials and Region agreed to pay all associated costs.

• Tullamore Transmission Main Contract 2: (electrical improvements, road works, structures, landscaping, water and sewer): value of extras was appox. $570,000.00. Dealt with issues regarding TRCA and depth of main not sufficiently deep under creek.

• Steels Ave. Restoration: value of extras (electrical, road works, structures, landscaping, water and sewer): value of extras $1.2M, saved company over $800K in applying for items under traffic control measures for alternative to specification.

• Coleraine Drive Ph 1&3: value of extras over $1.75M. Construction Companies Residential:

• Mattamy Civerio 2.5 km road widening with electrical, sewer and watermain completed on time with additional extras.

• Thompson Road Reconstruction – Halton Region 6.5km widening of two to four lanes, project completed on time and additional extras.

• Lebovic Phase 1A/2/3A/3B/3C/Mantle Ph. 2 –Stouffville: completed on time with extras. Construction Company ICI & Civil:

• Shop Drawings submittals as required allowing site works construction crews to continue work though most of the shop drawings and engineers’ review was not completed. Engineering Companies:

• Shirley Drive and Major Mackenzie: intersection widening, no cost overruns and project completed on time and budget, no cost overruns.

• Key Road Subdivision: project completed on time and budget, no overruns.

• Queensgate Homes Ph. 2: project completed on time and budget, no cost overruns.

• Roasebay Ph 3: project completed on time and budget, no cost overruns.

• Tendering of project as sub-divisions and site plans for grading, site servicing and as well as Municipal/Regional road improvements relating to site-specific conditions and Developers’ Agreements. As well management projects relating to general meetings, revisions, RFI & RFQ’s, payments, pricing additional extras to the contract, sub-contractors and suppliers purchase orders, scheduling, utility locates, overall monthly project costing, management of crew and machinery allocation and overall project profitability. 3

R.V. Anderson Associates Limited – Toronto ON June 2015-May 2016

• Zone 1 Watermain - Region of Halton: Construction of 2.5m dia tunnel, with main shaft at 52.0m depth and two secondary shafts at depths at 15.0m & 31.84m. The alignment of tunnel from Burloak WWP to Kitchen Reservoir, over 6km (2km-1,800mm dia. and 4km of 1,500mm dia) of tunnel installation of steel mortar lined pipe for water transmission for future development. Appox. Cost $55Million

• Millbrook water and wastewater pipelines – Township of Cavan Monaghan: Construction of 250 mm dia. watermain and 300mm dia. sanitary sewer to service future development lands in the municipality. The project site was challenged with artesian water conditions and traffic control in tight road right-of-ways. Overall project cost $1.5 million. Engineer - Dunpar Homes – Toronto ON

Managed design review and submission for infill town house complex - City of Toronto. Schaeffers & Associates oversaw the field construction of project. Issued for construction by the City of Toronto after two submissions.

General Manager

Tedescon Infrastructure Inc. - Kleinberg, ON January-March 2014 Manage the reconstruction of Richmond St.-City of Toronto from Church St. to York St. Project scope included improvement to watermain, electrical and road rehabilitation, dealt with extra work orders and costing, project financials and dealt with City and TTC for work under streetcar tracks. Project value $5Million, submitted extras to City of Toronto and met with Sr. PM from City to review and authorize extras for payment. Senior Project Manager

Rutherford Contracting Ltd - Aurora, ON October 2013-January 2014 Lake Wilcox Park and Promenande – Town of Richmond Hill: Construction Management and administration for the construction of a lakeside park and promenade walkway, including lighting, sewers, watermain, armour stone retaining walls, granite rock shoreline, planters, granite curbs, art features, and cairns.

Approximate cost $6 million, list of extras complied and submitted to the Dillon Consulting and issued for payment by the Town of Richmond Hill.

Varcon Construction Corporation - Bolton, ON February 2013-October 2013 Plan and managed construction schedules, shop drawing submittals, permit applications working with both the ICI servicing and Civil Project including commercial and site plans. Attended meetings with Owners and Architects for project status for processing monthly payments certificates or issues of concern, submitted and followed up for extra work claims and monitored overall project status and profitability.

Project Value ranged from $2Million to $250Million. 4

Mardave Construction (2007) Ltd–Toronto, ON May 2011-February 2013 Managed heavy civil construction of Concrete Pressure Pipe for various Regions’ trunk and distribution water mains, scope of works also included road reconstruction, electrical improvements. I also monitored project overall financial costs, safety protocols, estimate equipment and labor costs to determine project feasibility to completion. Reviewed tendering of projects with chief estimator for pricing and probability, approve monthly billings for sub- contractors and suppliers, applied for monthly progress payment and extra work claims. Project Value ranged from $7.5Million to $25Million, extras were submitted to Engineers and paid by Regions.

Valdor Engineering Ltd - Woodbridge, ON 2009-2011

Managed financial, engineering, contracts and business development, dealing specifically with assumption for sub-divisions, site plans & municipal works and meeting with authorities for release of all financial instruments including letters of credit. Project Value ranged from $12Million to $35Million, projects were applied for assumption and all letters of credits and other financial instruments released. Project Controller

Managed financial and engineering contracts for sub-divisions and site construction projects and dealt with day-to-day construction issues with field supervisory staff, engineering consultants, sub- contractors and suppliers. Wrote and implement company policies relating to company's construction and all monthly financial issues. Other external project relating to subdivision construction were road improvement such as:

o Road re-construction 6.5KM of Thompson Road in Burlington (Dundas St. W & Rotary Wary), for storm, sanitary & watermain and widening of existing two lanes, to four lanes. Dealt with Region of Peel, City of Burlington and Stantec Consulting. o Mattamy Civerio, 2.5KM each, dealt with two intersections widening and cost sharing with Town of Milton, which included relocation of Hydro, Bell and Cable lines and poles as well as signalize

o Mattamy on the Lake, full re-construction of 1.5km of road allowance in order to service subdivision. The cost sharing items were dealt with the City of Hamilton and they also paid for the replacement of storm, sanitary, watermain and road allowance. o Ninth Line/Reeves Way widening, 2.2KM dealt with Town of Stouffville, Region of York and Giffels as the Town’s Inspectors.

o Hwy 7 & Ninth Line culvert and bridge improvements, dealt with Town of Markham and Region of York to include culvert and road improvements as well as constructing new watermain across Hwy. 7 to service future residents. Project Values ranged from $15Million to $30Million, extras were submitted to Engineers and paid by Developers (Mattamy or Lebovic).

Ecotech Consulting Engineers - Markham, ON 2003 to 2006 Managed engineering specifications and wrote tenders for sub-divisions, site plans, trunk sewers and road improvements. Reviewed engineering drawings for submission, wrote and awarded tenders, maintained communication with construction inspectors and site staff, issued payment certificates, change orders, negotiated addition claims with contractors, dealt with RFQ’s & RFI’s, issued Certificate of Substantial Performance and release of holdback and oversaw projects to assumption and final release of letters of credit and other financial instruments. Managed approvals and construction for intersection and road improvement of 1.2km along Ninth Line and dealt with MTO regarding improvement along Hwy. 7 for subdivision access as well as ETR 407 for construction along their corridor and necessary approvals and permits. Supervised phases from pre-construction to tendering, building and assumption, financial management of recoverable funds, claims, progress payments and overall developer's budget, liaised on owners' behalf with planners, consultants and architects regarding future land acquisitions for homes and low-rise commercial developments. Review of official plans, existing services infrastructure and legal requirements, attended meetings with Municipalities regarding development and site inspections, secured necessary permit approvals for planning and building.

Supervised phases from pre-construction to tendering, road improvement, building and assumption, including personnel management of all field staff and contractors, oversee financial management of recoverable funds, claims, progress payments and overall developer's budget.

Masongsong Associates Engineering - Markham, ON 1999 to 2003 Managed project construction and field staff, interacted with concerned parties ranging from Municipal Approval, architects, contractors and inspectors. Administered to permit approvals, agreements with developers, legal regulations and financial issues pertaining to projects from conception to completion.

Also managed multiple rehabilitation projects for development clients mainly in Markham. Also managed intersection improvement that had to be completed in order to service homeowners the Town of Markham and Region of York, including the rehabilitation of roads, intersections, storm and sanitary sewers and watermain re-construction or improvements.
