ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Implementation of secure VoIP application: Python, Linux
Deployed a VoIP system using the asterisk server and client like Zoiper & Jitsi and enabled Security features like SRTP, SSL / TLS, Blacklist functionality etc. to protect Confidentiality, Integrity, and Authenticity of the communicating entities and the information they exchange.
Communication in Wireless Sensor Networks: Java Sockets, Python Script
Designed and implemented a communication application for wireless sensor networks, with multiple sensors to inter-communicate using socket programming. Deployed sensor network in the area to collect individual temperatures and calculated minimum, average, and maximum of the area.
IP CCTV –Internet of Things (IoT): Java
An Internet of Things project deployed to enable live feed from the raspberry pi to the mobile app over the internet. A camera is mounted on the pi through which videos or periodic snapshots are stored on both the raspberry pi and the Linux box (a dedicated server) connected via an Ethernet cable. A security enabled smart phone app is created through which the user can monitor the videos.
Implementing Network Application to Enjoy Media Library on Remote Server: Android, Python
Implemented a network application to enjoy a media library stored on a server. Developed an android application that controls remote renderer to play/pause/stop/forward/rewind multimedia file stored on remote server. Received best project award for self starter approach.
Tools for validating network services and automating the deployment and management: Python, Mininet
To check and control the network services on the Software Defined Network. Used Mininet as simulator for network infrastructure and Open-flow protocol for SDN. Languages used are Java AWT for front end and Python scripting for backend functionality using Mininet Python API’s.
Online Gaming Store Database Design Project: MySQL, Java
Implemented full length online gaming store similar to an e-commerce website like amazon.com using SQL. Concentrates more on data base implementation and its consistencies.
