Sr. I.T. Program Manager (2011-2014)

Manage the Capital Markets program consisting of multiple project teams of varying size (5-25) utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Facilitate the creation of revenue-producing products, from proof-of-concept, potential vendor selection, implementation and post-production support. Managed the data center migration of all Capital Markets infrastructure from the Santa Ana to Dell’s data centers. Migrated over 280 servers supporting production, development and quality assurance. Managed the launch of the Loan Level Market Analytics product. Worked closely with servicing data providers utilizing anonymized data contributions.

Managed the launch of the Borrower Credit Insights product. Worked with Trans Union to generate a monthly data feed of anonymized credit data.

Managed the RiskModel product through multiple product releases. The RiskModel generates $7.5M annually and is used by large banks (Wells Fargo, Chase, BofA, FHLB’s) to analyze their portfolios. RiskModel combines the industry’s most comprehensive mortgage databases with advanced predictive modeling technologies and forecasts the likely future behavior of mortgage portfolios as well as individual loans. RiskModel focuses on prepayments, defaults, and losses to predict changes in mortgage status, probability of default and loss given default

Managed the creation of the Bond Analytics Platform – The Bond Analytics Platform generates reliable analytics and pricing by deriving results from actual current risk and projected risk, to the value of assets that compose portfolios and securities. These assessments incorporate the most current loan-to-value ratios, market conditions and performance models.

Coordinated projects with third-party vendors MicroStrategy and Vichara to deliver technology updates to existing product platforms.

Accomplishments:

Managed the TrueStandings Securities application which generates $1.35M annual revenue. The TrueStandings Securities application is a Business Intelligence tool that is combined with the industry’s largest and most comprehensive mortgage securities database. Provides portfolio analysis by tracking collateral default, prepayment and credit risk.

Managed the creation of the Vector Securities application generating $800K annual revenue in the first six months of production. The Vector Securities application is a next generation Business Intelligence tool that utilizes loan level RMBS data to analyze collateral default, prepayment and credit risk.

Worked with Experian and Trans Union to integrate “anonymized” credit data into the CoreLogic dataset.

Project Manager - AVP

Launched the “Go-paperless” strategy in order to maximize operational and sales efficiencies, while significantly reducing operational expenses. Solution replaced the manual/paper-based processes with workflow driven imaging systems resulting in a first year savings of $2.1 million by eliminating shipping expenses, providing secure electronic delivery of consumer and third party documents.

Implemented changes to multiple core systems enabling an affinity relationship with American Express, allowing joint qualified customers to make their monthly mortgage payment via their American Express card and thus accumulate rewards points on a monthly basis. During the pilot year, the program generated over $100 million in new loan/refinance business.

Facilitated the replacement of the credit vendor within the companies Point of Sale system, reducing business unit operational expenses by 3% in the first year.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer
