Operations Manager DPISPORTS Jan. 2011 – Sept. 2014 Co-constructed this business from the ground up and managed its daily operations (from inventory, to sales to daily operations) to provide prompt and quality delivery of high-end sports memorabilia to customers. Managed a direct report to assist in facilitating daily operations from assessing purchases, to running shipping processes, to responding to clients. Fostered and maintained strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Communicated and negotiated with suppliers to procure merchandise at a more cost-effective level, and maximize the return on products while the demand increased.

Achieved a 300% increase in sales after securing a 5-year contract with the Shopping Channel to sell products on their website, serving as one of two main sports distributors in Canada.

Expanded the company’s brand and increased its presence online by facilitating online marketing initiatives which incorporated the use of social media.

Online Marketing Project – Peterborough & Kawartha Alzheimer’s Society:

Conceptualized, developed and delivered an online marketing campaign to assist the society in raising donations for the annual Fire Truck for Charity; which involved filming and editing a two- minute commercial that could be aired online for free.

The marketing plan also included 3 different solutions with a 7-step guide to assist the society in improving overall attendance and secure donations outside the local community. KEY COURSES:
