Reports directly to the Site Sr. Safety Engineer (SSE);
Assists the SSE in administering the Loss Prevention Program of the Project, as for:
Prevention of injury of personnel/workers and damage to property,
Provision and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and
Safe use of construction equipment;
Monitors the site execution of Safety and Loss Prevention Program and reports to the SSE of any deviation on the implementation of Health and Safety Program;
Familiarizes himself with the Government Safety Regulation, Company Safety Program and Loss Prevention, as well as the clients Safety Regulation for implementation;
Responsible in the implementation of safety and related matters in his area of responsibility;

Assists the SSE in the investigation of accidents and determining the cause(s) of any accidents or dangerous occurrence;
Assists the SSE on the conduct of safety briefing/orientation of newly hired personnel/workers;
Helps in giving encouragement and developing within the company an understanding that injury and loss preventions are integral part of business and operational efficiency;
Reports to the SSE any safety violation detected and committed by project personnel/workers;
Assists the SSE on the conduct of site safety meetings and safety patrols; and
Has the authority to STOP any segment of work whenever he deems it unsafe, and immediately refer this matter to the SSE for proper and immediate coordination with the Project Construction Management (PCM) for correction or rectification.
