(FMTV - Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles, CMTV – Caiman Multi-Theater Vehicles, Patriot Missile Trucks, and Severe Duty Commercial Trucks) from October 2009 to the present time with 100% on time delivery to the customer, as well as led activity that resulted in Customer Quality improving from 35 defects per vehicle in October 2009 to 0.25 defects per vehicle in April 2012; a 99% improvement.

Responsible for managing plant start-up and pre-SOP activities that included process set-up, high volume production readiness trials, standardized work instruction development, takt-time/cycle- time ramp-up, and the staffing of hourly Team Members.
Managed safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, moral, maintenance, and engineering issues to ensure that all “Toyota Way” competitive manufacturing practices, metrics, and policies were achieved, as well as coordinated quality improvement and defect reduction activities with other Group Leaders to improve the overall quality and reduction of Flow-out from the Paint department.
Led process improvement activities that resulted in a 3 month turn-around of the paint department where productivity increased from 70% OA to 95% OA. Also during that time the overall quality improved from .15 DPV to .06 DPV in SQA Plant audits and a “Zero” DPV score in 3 separate TEMA (Corporate) Quality Audits which became the benchmark for all Toyota Manufacturing Plants in North America.
Developed workflow optimization strategies for the Paint Department which included process improvement and stabilization efforts utilizing the Toyota Way of Quality and Toyota Business Practice model for sustainability.
