Chemical Cleaner June 2006-November 2001
I currently work for a petrochemical cleaning company that works at different chemical plants and refineries. We go in, drain and remove chemicals from storage tanks, then clean and process the tanks in preparation for the next set of chemicals. While the tanks are being cleaned, the chemicals are processed and cleaned to remove any impurities. All tanks must be inspected and approved by OSHA before chemicals are allowed back in the tanks. Once the chemicals are allowed in the tanks, they are inspected again to make sure they remain at the required temperature by OSHA standards.

I worked manufacturing wooden pallets and skids, which are container units for prefabricated systems so that they may be premade and shipped as a whole instead of having to assemble on location. I was required to use forklifts and hammer jacks in the loading, unloading, and moving of equipment.
