2.IMECO(AL-SHIRAH RECRUITMENT SERVICE)under ADNOC group,(continuing since 1march 2015 till date in same Borouge plant Ruwais)

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN.

Presently working with Borouge through IMECO since12th January 2013 as an electrical Technician in operation and maintenance, commissioning and testing of HV/MV/LV Switch gears, Circuit breakers such as,SF6,VCB,ACB,Contactors,isolators,DB's for lighting and power, lightning arrestors,earth switches, earth pits, capacitors bank, battery charger, battery bank,ups.

Apart from the above experience I have the knowledge of plant process system like. Hypochlorite process, sea water lifting pump, closed circuit cooling water pumps BOG Tank form area, Fire water pumps,ETP,Deminiralised water,chemical plant, Boilers, Turbines etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A) OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE:-

Preventive maintenance of Hv and Lv Motors, Lubrication of Bearing(oil and greasing), Measuring IR,WR, PI,values,of different capacity of Motor

Periodical preventive & corrective maintenance of Lv Hv,Transformers, circuit breakers contactors,MCC,PCC feeders,DOL,Star delta starters, space heaters,cäpaciors bank, Battery banks,UPS,cable bushing, cable joints etc.

Trouble shooting for HV LV Motor Unbalance, Thermal over load trip, Earth fault.

Isolation and De-isolation of HV,LV feeders. Good knowledge in schematic and single line drawings read and Trace out.

Knowledge about plant shut down jobs, Example, switching procedure, Bus bar shut down jobs, D.B pm jobs, Breaker service, Diesel Generators, ups jobs, etc…..

Knowledge of Relays such as Micom make Multiprotection Relays, etc.

High voltage motor and feeder protective relays, Ge multiline Relay, micom p142, Siemens sepam, p&b feeder vision, ABB MM300 etc…,

Experience with Siemens relay series 7SJ,7UM,7UT,7SD,7RW,MM300,SIMATIC OP 17.

IR,PI, WR,Test of motor and power transformers.

IR,High pot, stability for Test Busbar,Circuit breakers, contactors.

Polarity and ratio tests for PT's,VT's,CT's.

BDV Test of transformer oil (Die-electric strength of transformer oil).

Handling Electrical shifter job to support operation for running the plant(isolation and de-isolation of motor feeder supply,power cable connections,monitoring relay etc.

Co-ordination with Engineering consultant vendor,PMT,TPW for planning and schedule of commissioning test, Walk down. Inspection.

Review of vendors single line diägrams.genäral arrangement of drawing, interconnection digrams,grounding layouts, lighting layout drawings.

Site co-ordination with commissioning team for Solorun,Load test run of motors .

High pot test,IR test, stability test for Busbar,ciruit breakers, contactors.

Ratio test, PI test, High pot test,IR test, stability test, Differential test for PT, CT,VT.

IR Test, PI Test, WR. Test for Motors.

Commissioning of 33,11,3.3 kv Lv Switch gears,UPS,Transformers.

SCMS and interlock testing for 33kv switch gears.

Commissioning and discharging testing of battery banks.

Technical evaluation of electrical equipment.

3.LIMRA ELECTRICALS,BANGALORE,INDIA. (August 2007 to 30th JULY 2011).

RESPONSIBILITIES.

Maintenance of HV,LV Switch gears,Motors,Transformers,Diesel Generator set,Battery banks, battery charger, UPS.Lightning arrestor, lighting system, Attending breakdown maintenance and Trouble shooting.

Ancillary equipment such as amp and volt meters, control circuits, and transformers,genarators, will be given individual attention during routine check.

Insulating liquids such as transformer and circuit breaker oil are also checked for contaminants, dielectric breakdown values, and dissolved gas content.

Cable trays and trenches, bus bar sections of the substation are cleaned, and all bolted connections checked for correct torque settings. A 500 or 1000 volt insulation resistance Test will also take place for all circuit breakers and cables during.All major maintenance work and inspections are recorded and filed for reference.

Turns Ratio Testing- Used to measure the turns ratio of the high voltage winding to the low voltage winding of transformer. Turns ratio testing identified early turn to turn shorts within the transformer.

Winding Resistance- Detects loose electrical connections within the transformer, and or tap changer. Test can also measure the resistance of each individual coil within the transformer.

Insulation Resistance- DC Megger test used a down and dirty insulation check. The DC Megger used to perform a polarization index test. The PI test is the 10 minute insulation reading divided by the 1 minute reading. The PI test is an indication of moist or dirty insulation.

Tap Changer Contact Testing- Test which measure the make and break of tap changer contacts. Can determine contact condition and misaligned contacts.

High Current Testing- Used to verify proper trip operation of low voltage circuit breakers. Injects high current through the poles of circuit breaker so that proper trip operation can be verified.

Relay Testing- Relay testing inject low secondary current into the relay to verify trip operation of the relay.

CT Testing during commissioning to verify proper polarity, excitation, and knee points on current transformers.

Cable Testing- hi- pot tester to determine cable quality, and suitability for continued use.

Ground Resistance Testing- Ground resistance testing can be used to measure soil resistivity, ground rod resistance, or complete grounding grid evaluation.
