A post-graduate in Psychiatric Nursing with gold medal from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. During post graduate training, taken part in various teaching programs, organized national level conferences and staff development programs, collaborated with hospital services in organizing disaster management drill and gained experience in conducting research. Also attended workshops and training programs on child and adolescent mental health, yoga and cognition, basic life support, infection control and effective communication.

Currently, working as a nurse mentor/ lecturer at St. John’s College of Nursing, Bangalore since 1/7/2013. During this period I have guided undergraduate students in research projects, attended and organized national and international workshops on qualitative research, nursing ethics etc. At present involved in supervision and training of nursing students and staff.
