• Provides direct supervision of the maintenance staff of FCCLA and Apartment manager for all matters related to the repairs, maintenance and replacement related to facilities operations.

• Coordinates and supervises the work provided by outside contractors, vendors and volunteers including HVAC, electrical and all lighting needs, plumbing, gardening, security, parking, roofing, cement on the ground and walls, painting, minor repairs, glass, iron works, etc.

• Creates and implements facility plans, manages construction and service contracts, creates and implements maintenance and custodial staff work schedules.

• Plans and coordinates the scheduled and emergency replacement of infrastructure support equipment and other physical plant assets.

• Recommends, and when approved, supervises and assists with campus capital projects and improvements.

• Attends event-coordinating meetings to plan the event schedule, set-ups, breakdowns, coverage and discuss any special needs.

• Attends Building and Grounds Committee meetings as requested.

• Maintains a high standard of campus cleanliness and repair creates plans and prioritize recommendations for short and long-term repairs and insures that the campus is a safe and healthy place for members, students, staff and others.

• Oversees all purchasing agreements and management of the purchasing of all supplies, materials and equipment related to the facilities operations. This includes careful attention to fair and competitive pricing for all appropriate vendor and facilities support contracts.

• Provide general and detailed supervision for the preventative and reactive repair and maintenance of all facilities and equipment on the campus.

SKILL SETS

• Computer Software proficiency in Microsoft Office, ADP PC/Payroll 5.0, Staff Suite, VuRV, ETime, Genesis, Jenteks, and Edge timekeeping systems.

• Certified Forklift Trainer & Operator

• Bilingual in English & Spanish
