facility. Assigning daily work for inbound is 100k units high volume per day, slotting/clustering using product velocity statistics and outbound 200k units SKU intensive, eCommerce order fulfillment per day. Training, planning, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.

Warehouse Supervisor

Effective leader, team builder, trainer in a fast pace parts distribution center for the largest dealer network in the

truck industry that ships 12,000 parts at a value of 1.5 million dollars per day to our dealers. My responsibility is

the supervision of 22 employees in the inbound, receiving, binning, slotting and the replenishment operation to

support the pick, pack and ship department.

Directly responsible for the following warehouse operations:

Safe working environment, Staffing, Scheduling.

Inventory Control, Process Control, Packaging Quality, Cycle Functions.

Rewarehousing from yearly turns.

Team member for the move of the parts distribution center from Baltimore, Maryland to Manchester, Pa on the

timing of construction, layout of operations, moving of inventory, training the new warehouse employees and

switching over to the single WMS system. Developed SOPs, standard operating processor for the training of new incoming supervisors to use in all areas of the warehouse's functions.

KEY PLASTICS, INC., Felton, PA Apr. 1998 – July 2004

Quality Supervisor

Supervisor of 7 quality inspectors in two plants for 24-hour molding operations.

Responsible for the Quality of Automated Insert molding.

Relocated three automotive programs with a value of 10 million dollars from El Paso, Tx. to Felton Pa.

Led a team of operators, inspectors and technicians to El Paso for process observation and training.

Relocated two Coordinate Measuring Machines.

Programmed the Coordinate Measuring Machines for 100% dimensional layout, in-process inspection

and annual layout.

Wrote work instructions to operate Coordinate Measuring Machine for inspection of the three products.

Trained six Coordinate Measuring Machine inspectors.

Reported the design of experiments, gage, process capability studies and first article inspection results.

GRINNELL CORPORATION, Columbia, PA Mar. 1997 – Apr. 1998

Manufacturing Supervisor

Supervised 40 employees in molded metal pipe fittings.

Manufacturing Supervisor 1993-1995

Supervised 65 employees in manufacturing electronic components: plastic molding, metal stamping, assembly,

metal plating, including precious metals, wire drawing and support: maintenance, mold and die repair, material

handling, quality assurance.

Led teams in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for three major

manufacturing processes, resulting in cutting field losses from 2% to .5%, increasing throughput

10%, thereby saving $75-$90 K per year.

Developed procedures and videotapes for training new hires and ongoing team development.

Utilized team development projects to teach team processes and problem solving.

Quality Control Supervisor 1985-1993

Supervised 19 inspectors; programmed automatic optical micrometer, Betascope, X-ray Fluorescence,

Coordinate Measuring Machine, Instron compression/tension, cross section and polishing equipment.

Teamed with manufacturing and purchasing to sell management and implement a manufacturing

resource planning (MRP) to manage inventory and work flow, resulting in cutting delinquent

receivables from weeks to days, more rational purchasing, reduced inventory levels and increased machine utilization. This effort changed plant wide and turned it into a Class A (MRP) plant certified operation.

Worked on team that consolidated two plants into one, thereby improving efficiency, halving

workforce and dramatically cutting costs.

Set-up statistical process control system plant wide, which convinced plant inspectors, tool makers

and mold makers of the validity and value of this approach for change in their quality.

Won Q1 award from Ford Motor Company.
