I have operated several types of cnc/ manual mills and lathes such as Mazak, Komo, Nicolas Correa and Hass. Used computer software to keep track of work orders and time spent on job. Setup machines for coworkers not familiar with running machines. Checked parts using calibrated tools to ensure accuracy through quality control system. Shot peen parts to customer specs using glass and steel sand blasting machines. Inspect parts using dye penetrant and visual inspect to indicate flaws in material. Applied coatings to prevent rusting and corrosion to protect parts. Operate forklift for shipping and receiving if needed. Used overhead cranes to move parts throughout the shop to desired machine. Operated cnc bandsaw to cut raw material to allow tolerance before being worked on.
