I have been in the construction industry for the last 20 years and during that time I have been involved in different aspects of this field. I’m very organizing with good communication skills also good dealing with people. I’m a team player and I always give 100% of my effort. I’m willing to walk the extra mile to make it work.

Education: I’m a medical Doctor in Cuba. I have a few certifications from O.S.H.A. I speak English and Spanish.

2015 last month: General Stairs Corp. I was a Manager for the Metal Division. Responsible for fabrication (aluminum railings, balconies, louvers, metal structures, etc.). Scheduling delivery of final product to the paint shop and to the field. Installation and final inspections in time before deadlines. Negotiating contracts with suppliers and cutting administrative costs to reduce budget. Payroll is part of my responsibilities too. Daly oversees of working process and maintenance of a safe and clean working environment is a must. Dealing with projects of $ 1.8 to 3 millions.

2015 2011: Associated Steel and Aluminum Project Manager. Responsible for field measurements, engineering drawings, shop fabrication, scheduling of final product to the paint shop and to the field. Installation and inspections scheduling are key for completion of work before deadlines. Negotiating new contracts with companies that we provide services to and bringing new costumers. Stay on budget or under by cutting administrative costs and negotiating supplier’s fees is a goal achieved. Payroll and improving productivity on different stages of the company are essential to grow. Dealing with projects of $ 5 to 7 millions.

2000 2011: Style Builders Corp. I was the President and C.E.O. I was in S.F.H structures and finishing. Designing projects with engineers and architects to final product to costumer’s satisfaction (windows, flooring, colors, kitchen, bath, etc.). Scheduling every step of the project, dealing with subcontractors and vendors. Slashed payroll/benefits administration costs 20% by negotiating pricing and fees, while ensuring the continuation and enhancements of services. Inspections and task completion in time is an important factor for budget and costumers satisfaction. After 5 years running my company I got on swimming pool building (commercial/ residential). Projects of $ 1.5 to 2 millions.

1996 1999: Alufab Hurricane Shutters. Project Manager. Responsible for field measurements, engineering drawings, fabrication (aluminum shutters, louvers, steel structures, etc). Scheduling of fabrication and installation are key element here. Reducing cost by negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors is a way to stay to on budget and under. Inspections and buildings code are extremely important to achieve final goals. Dealing with projects of $ 3.5 millions.

1994 1999: Paramedic at C.A.C Ramsay. I had the certifications of Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy. Responsible for physical check out of patients to enroll in our health care plans. Good communications skills and marketing to make appointments with costumer for the continuation and enhancements of services.
