Career Objective:

As an enthusiastic and highly motivated person in my work and in my personal life I have learned many skills to help me achieve great results, while working in many sectors like, entertainment, customer service and other service related positions which is the industry I really strive in and my career path is dedicated to.

Employment History

March 2014 – Present - Enterprise EBS business support.

Duties: My Role would involve receiving inbound calls and making external calls with regards to reservations and additional queries for retail and corporate customers wishing to book, or assisting with breakdown issues while in rental.

I use many complex systems at the same time utilizing my knowledge to assist customers and staff at the branches. My role is from home so I self manage my own time in my office.

In addition I also am now being trained to deal with more complex calls that come through to the business, I have been getting great statistics and performing up there with the top employees in the company, In addition I am earning a great bonus each month for sales closure for going above and beyond the statistics from the office goal set.

I have also been promoted within the business from my success in my role to the Rental support team, dealing with more in depth queries and issues that may arise via many systems.

September 2012 – November 2013 - Sensee Ltd

Duties: I worked for a virtual call centre servicing their client Argos. I dealt with a large number of calls on a daily basis doing system tasks such as processing delivery queries issues and major complaints over several operational systems.

Self management of working time and setting up my own private working space where part of this job.

I would also have to take training sessions for technical issues within the business as we were a new project for the client, I also gained many additional skills within IT and customer service while working from home.

April 2009 – August 2012 - South West Water

Duties: My initial role involved inbound and outbound calls based upon the needs within the business. I started within the larger customer service department dealing with account and service queries.

I was then promoted to the commercial business team after two years. This was a small team where we each had a large workload and would individually manage those accounts, from payment maintenance and debt management.

We also worked with more in-depth payment issues gaining continued payment and if needed my additional role was to process all disconnection of supplies, this involved complex system tasks that I had to manage myself within the department.

My skilled role meant I could also be involved in taking a high number of calls on the main customer service lines and using many complex internal systems to do this task. In addition I would be raising and investigating back office work, this involved email, phone and letter responses. Also within the company we had many targets to achieve from customer service statistics and cash raised to name a few.

I was always achieving the top marks for the company and continued to improve on this within the business always gaining a place within the top ten advisers in the company.

In my own time I also achieved productive ways to improve the systems and interfaces, in addition looking at motivational aspects to help the other agents achieve higher marks on their statistics to improve the business portfolio as a whole.

October 2008 – March 2009 - Mecca Bingo

Duties: Running "cash line" a bingo game that is very fast paced, also taking charge of controlling the safe, handling large cash-flow at several periods thought the day. Guiding the team and organising to make the most money possible in the short period time from the games played.

My role also involved main stage compare during big games and managing the linked club games in the region. Also my other main role was compare for the club making sure all customers knew the running of day to day activities and maintaining the club's warm and friendly atmosphere, this was a very diverse role involving many duties and the ability to change with the need of the business.

March 2008 - October 2008 - Harrison’s Bingo

Duties: My role was attending to customers and running the bingo hall making sure customers had what they needed and the bingo games where running at all times. This is a face paced environment, Cash handling and stock taking and refilling machines.

January 2006 – February 2008 - First Quench

Duties: My job was serving customers and advising them on the best choices of wines and champagnes from our vast selection. To make sure the customer is happy when shopping. I was a key holder and had to do shifts on my own running and restocking the shop. Lots of paperwork was involved banking two computer systems one for serving one for stock and cash flow control.

March 2005 – December 2005 - EDF Energy

Duties: My duties involved calling customers and retaining reasons for payment and gaining payments for the gas and electric bills arranging direct debits taking a high number of calls on a daily basis.

Also the job would involve using a system called (CIS) which is a complex database. I also raised and completed change of tenancies for the COT department maintaining customer contact and filing documents.

April 2003 – Present - Entertainer (DJ, sound and lighting technician)

Duties: I was the stage manager at one of the top holiday parks in Devon my duties included sound and lighting and controlling the shows. Face to face skills talking to holiday makers keeping spirits high. Running kids club playing games and looking after the children. Also water activities I ran by the pools.

There was a lot of selling involved selling myself and my Cd’s and products for the company on a daily basis. My job also involved building up a relationship with the holiday makers over 2 weeks and making their holiday an amazing experience and a fully enjoyable time while there in the club

Aside from this I have also been involved in productions locally for many years; I enjoy to DJ and have done this on a few occasions after working for holiday parks. With my technical experience and lighting and sound experience lend very well in other areas of music.

January 2004 – April 2004 - BT

Duties: Taking calls from customers on the 118500 switch board and searching for information on the directories also I have fully completed my training there and was a fully trained operator.

February 2002 – April 2003 - Scottish Power

Duties: Receiving incoming calls from customers, dealing with in-depth account queries and a high volume of calls, In addition taking gas/electric emergency calls when major issues would occur within the national grid.

Another main part of my role would involve telesales work for electricity & gas supplies, retaining customers and looking to upgrade current supplies with additional options, in addition gaining new customers who call to discuss options with switching supplier.

March 2000 – February 2002 - Flares

Duties: Supervising bar staff in a busy city centre nightclub. Handling Cash and operating tills. Ordering and counting stock. End of night cashing up. Interacting with customers in a high pressure, high turnover environment and dealing with complaints.

Hobbies / Interests

Sea Cadet Corps (1995 – 2003)

I reached the rank of Leading Cadet. My interest in sailing led to me gaining my RYA Level 5 Sailing Instructors Award. As well as participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award I also attended Leadership courses learned how to canoe, became a Drill Instructor and Rifle Drill Instructor attending parades for the queen for the millennium guard.

I gained my marksmanship certificate, achieved my Coxswains qualification for rowing and played in the (SCC) unit’s band. At the age of 18 I also became an instructor with the Corps and helped to train cadets in communications, fire safety, band training, drilling and rifle drill for parades.

Computing

I have designed and maintained my own website and regularly use the Internet and my computer for entertainment. I am familiar and confident with using Windows systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and Adobe Photoshop, sound editing, mixing, Building and maintenance, programming (Visual Basic, Q basic, C++, http)

Using added effects to meld to different beats and tempos, finding different ways to mix through songs and the vocal harmonies or melodies in a song. I enjoy this in my spare time after my experience I have from education and work as an entertainer and a DJ.

Dancing

I have danced now for 8 years practicing in my spare time at school then I joined a dance school for more training. I trained in jazz, ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, street jazz. Dancing is my passion it’s my expression and helps me feel while releasing stress and is a natural expression of my emotions.

Sound & Lighting/Stage production management

I am trained in sound and lighting and was in charge or running and controlling this aspect of the shows. I was doing 7 shows per week supporting the acts on stage. After the shows I would do a 2 hour set disco. I have the technical background in sound and lighting and fixing and maintaining the stage and correcting problems if errors occur.

I also enjoy singing and dancing, regularly taking part in karaoke events with my friends. I like to sail in my spare time in the summer when I can. I also enjoy going on walks with my family.
