Plant Operations Director, 2006 - present

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System (LifePoint Hospitals)

Winchester, TN

Responsibilities include chairperson of safety committee, safety officer, security director, emergency management coordinator and plant maintenance director.

Maintenance of two hospitals totaling 198 beds, 1 outpatient rehabilitation center, 8 doctor practices and 2 medical office buildings.

Project management experience with several renovation and new construction projects.

Develop and maintain operating and capital budgets.

Manage all records required for compliance with all regulatory agencies including joint commission.

Plant Operations Manager, 1993 - 2006

Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital (HealthSouth Corp.)

Nashville, TN

Directly involved with the start up of an 118,000 sq. ft. hospital.

Instrumental in the implementation of the building operations areas, and the establishment of the

policies and procedures for the Plant Operations Department.

Responsible for all maintenance and housekeeping services to the facility with 17 employees running three shifts.

Administrator of preventive maintenance program, biomedical electronics, and telecommunications.

I have served on the hospital safety committee since its inception.

Responsible for maintenance of two outpatient surgical centers, and two diagnostic centers totaling 60,000 sq. ft.

Project coordinator for Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Sub Contractors, and Service Companies for renovation and repairs to the buildings.

Chief Engineer, 1991 – 1993

Responsible for maintenance of a 225,000 sq. ft. 203 room full service hotel.

Responsible for grounds crew for all interior and exterior landscaping on a four-acre property.

Supervision of five men in maintenance department.
