November 2007 Life Care Hospice Cullman & Gardendale, Al.

February 2014 Closed an acquisition of a hospice agency in Cullman, Al. and reduced debt from $1.75 million to a positive cash flow of $2.2 million in 18 months. Developed and implemented a business plan for compliance, clinical patient care, customer service, marketing & sales that ranked us #2 in our market at the end of our first year. I grew the agency in 2010 through an acquisition of a hospice in Jefferson County. We not only became a multi office organization we were now located in the largest medical community in the state. I managed a professional team of 72 healthcare personnel from physicians to clerical staff. I personally directed the development and implementation of a QA/QI program that achieved outstanding Medicare and Medicaid audits that directly reflected a 33% increase in revenue retention. I sold the company in 2014.
