EDUCATION

University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada Graduated: August 2015

Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Programming Languages: C, C++, Python, Java

Hardware Design Tools: Verilog, PSPICE, MATLAB, Altera-Quartus II

Hardware Testing Devices: DC Power Supply, Agilent 33500B Signal Generator, Agilent InfiniiVision X-Series, DSO Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, PCIe

Software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Senior Capstone Design Group Project: Smart Home System

University of Windsor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Year: 2015

Programmed the Beagle-Bone Black Micro-Controller, especially learned about the architecture of the micro-controller in addition to the Java Script programming used.

Created inter-connectivity between the devices and controlled them remotely.

Used Ethernet shield to setup a basic web server and we set up a device control website.

Performed analog/digital reading as well as wrote commands on the Input and Output pins of the Micro-Controller.

Established the socket connection as well as installed socket.io library into the Micro-Controller using Secure Shell (SSH).

Used knowledge of Linux programming, developed full server and HTML page codes.

Used knowledge of circuit analysis and plugged wires on the breadboard, which served as a connection between the Micro-Controller and the light/temperature/fan sensors.

HTML served as the Input; The Java Programming & Micro-Controller served as the in-between operation; and the light/temperature/fan sensors on the breadboard served as the output.

Embedded Systems Design project 1 & 2:

University of Windsor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Year: 2015

Designed, model and simulate an 8-bit Arithmetic Logic Unit through VHDL programming and Altera-Quartus II CAD tool.

Implemented the 8-bit Arithmetic Logic Unit on the ALTERA DE2 Board and LCD Character display module.

Arithmetic Logic Unite handles eight different operations (ADD/SUB/AND/OR/NOT/XOR/INC/DEC) on two 8-bit operands.

Implemented a microcontroller-based thermostat using Arduino development board.

Used MCP9700 analog thermometer chip to measure and display temperature in either Celsius/Fahrenheit on the character LCD module.

Control Systems: Digital Position Control for an Antenna Azimuth System

University of Windsor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Year: 2015

Designed a continuous PID and phase lead controllers for this system, which were later digitized and enhanced in order to pre-set performance criteria resulting in the final design.

Digitized the controller using Euler, Tustin, Generalized Bilinear Transformation, and Matched Pole-Zero methods.

Performed tests on the controller in Matlab/Simulink and compared the performance for different sampling times and for Zero-Order-Holder/First-Order-Holder.

OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE

Home Service Energy 2015

Call Center Customer Service Sales Representative

Youngstown State University Parking Services 2009

Parking Booth Attendant
