This is a small firm with three attorneys, one paralegal and one receptionist/secretary.
Secretary/Paralegal – In addition to the responsibilities listed below, additional responsibilities also include case work and completing online research, Subpoenas, Complaints and Warrants as well as completing and filing pleadings and drafting correspondence. Complete Discovery requests. Maintain accurate and structured billing entries for all billable time. Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances regarding City and Township Dockets. Cover paralegal position when main paralegal is on vacation/extended leave.
Receptionist – Answering and screening phone calls. Ordering office supplies and groceries. Contact private clients for case updates. Contact victims/witnesses for court appearances. Open new files. Maintain files for cases from City and Township (City Attorney/Twp. Prosecutor). Maintain 3 Attorney calendars for City and Township Court appearances.

RHL has assigned me to temporary, or temporary to permanent, legal assignments. I have been on one assignment which started as a 3 day assignment. Once my initial assignment was completed, the firm requested me for the vacation relief for two of the paralegals for two different attorneys. Assignment lasted 5 weeks.
SPEEDWAY, LLC, Enon, OH Multiple positions 6/1980 through 1/2012
Auditor – Verify inventory of retail facilities. Ensure compliance of company’s cash procedures and other company policy and procedures. Report to Management. Make recommendations for improvement.
Advanced Human Resource Representative – Oversaw the HR needs for company employees located in the State of Michigan. Developed and implemented training program for Assistant Managers. Additionally, worked closely with contracted attorneys to close worker’s compensation cases, completed investigations, made recommendations for resolutions, worked with management to correct legal and corporate issues.
District Manager – Responsible for day to day operations of up to 10 retail “Speedway” locations. Store Managers reported to me daily regarding operational issues, all employment issues, regulation, policy and procedure compliance.
Store Manager – Management person in charge of the day to day operations of a “Speedway” retail store. Duties included hiring, training, scheduling, delegating assignments, vendor deliveries/orders, customer issues.
