SUMMARY
My recent education in Occupational Safety and Health enriches my work experiences first on the US Navy submarine and most recently in industrial maintenance at a food processing facility that can produce 3.5 million pieces weekly. Presently, as a maintenance supervisor, I instill in my crew not only the need for company profitability but the necessity to achieve a true safety culture. I coach my crew to understand the complexities of maintenance performance but also the involvedness of all sectors of the company to achieve individual goals of each division. The coaching must always include all sectors of each job from inception, project planning, vendor relations, cost estimations, project management to completion of each project including complete satisfaction by the customer whether the customer be internal or external. The safety aspects of a company must go beyond regulatory compliance to accomplish a true safety culture, and although the safety mindset must be companywide from the top to the bottom, one must realize that it initiates from the middle and expounds outward. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word
