Academic Projects and Work Experience
Robotic Clay Pigeon Thrower
Project Management, Fabrication, Computer Modeling
Participated in a team that designed and developed a throwing clay pigeon using a centrifugal force as the launching force. This system displayed better efficiency at elevated heights and speed than current standards. Was responsible for designing the 3-D model of the system with one of my teammate, manufacturing the parts and wires, and coding the system. Was also responsible for creating schedule, managing budget, and material billing.
Mars Colonization (Mechatronics Design Competition)
Electronics Integration, Fabrication, Programming, Computer Modeling
Collaborated in a group that developed a stimulation model for the Mars exploration project. Using Arduino software, the team designed basic infrastructures including bridges, roads, and buildings. Collected data for analyses and tested variability.
Tee pin machine
Computer Modeling, Fabrication
Participated in the team that designed a mechanical machine to pick up a stick of wood and sliced it into a tee pin. The team developed parts using feature cam and Solidwork. Also utilized 3D modeling to assess strength and movement.
