Manufacturing tools required in the industry using various manufacturing machines such as Welding machine, Drilling machine, Boring machine, Lathe Machine etc.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA

Nano - Technology in Tennis January 2016 - April 2016

Study of use of Nano – Technology in Tennis Racquets and tennis balls to better the performance using nano-tubes, nano-clay and other nano technologies.

Crash Avoidance Technology August 2015 - December 2015

Worked on various Current Trends in Active Safety (Crash Avoidance Technology) such as Lane assists, blind spot sensors, forward collision sensors.

Study on various FMVSS 208, FMVSS 214, and DFMEA.

Analysis of Vibration of Masses and Spring August 2015 - December 2015

Analyze the vibration motion of a system consisting of three main masses and three main springs with a subsidiary system with the whole system anchored at a point.

Fatigue Analysis January 2015 - May 2015

Determination of fatigue life of solder joint in completely filled clean and non-clean gap model of a flip-chip package using FEA tools using Hypermesh to create the model, assign the properties and then run the Analysis in Abaqus.

Analysis of Fracture August 2014 - December 2014

Worked on analyzing the displacements and stresses of a crack emanating from a hole in a metal plate when pressure is applied using Hypermesh to the given metal plate model, by constraining one end of the metal plate.

Post- process analysis is run on Abaqus to get the displacement and stress values.

Analytical Simulation is done using Matlab.

GITAM University, Hyderabad, Telangana, INDIA

Analysis and Optimization of Micro - Milling for an 7075 Aluminium Alloy Dec 2013 – Apr 2014

Analysis is run to find the values of time, width, surface roughness and metal removal rate by changing the parameters such as spindle speed, depth of cut and feed. The analysis is made as of how the Input parameters effect Width, Surface roughness and Metal Removal Rate.

Then optimization is done so as to find out the optimum range for Width, Surface Roughness and Metal Removal Rate.

Simulation Of Tig Welding Process For Circumferential Joints July 2013 – Dec 2014

This Project employs the finite element method (FEM) to determine the residual stresses and distortions in welded joints.

Prediction of temperature variations, fusion zone and heat affected zone as well as longitudinal and transverse distortion, and residual stress is obtained.
