Current Function as Offshore Drilling Coordinator

Following and supporting daily offshore Deepwater drilling operation with different subsidiaries from H.Q.

Reviewing and recommending drilling programs for explorative wells.

On site visits at drilling ship and semi-submersible rigs performing HSE audits.

Evaluates new technologies in order to maximize operational performance during drilling phase.

Previous duties as Superintendent

Day to day operations management of a multi-rig drilling program for horizontal wells.

Supervision of well-site Drilling Supervisors, both company and contract including, scheduling, and performance evaluation

Managing multi-disciplined environment to achieve HSE and Operational goals.

Working with Drilling Engineers to develop safe and low cost procedures for well operations

Working with Procurement and HSE groups for identification of qualified vendors in multiple areas

Direct input and responsibility for cost control and ensuring operations stay within budget

Working with Drilling Engineers to deliver wells as designed under the guidance of the Wells Management Policy, and keeping within the Wells Excellence company standards

June 2009 to September 2014

Onshore & Offshore Drilling Superintendent, Eni Petroleum, Alaska Planning and executing a successful re-start of the drilling operation onshore and offshore achieving the target proposed by the Eni Petroleum, using (2) full winterized 2000 HP drilling rigs.

Carry out the supervision of the arctic drilling operations on North Slope, Alaska conducted by Eni Petroleum day by day.

Evaluating the drilling programs for extended reach wells (21) to be executed according Eni standards.

The rig was plan to be utilized in the offshore drilling campaign by Eni Petroleum on North Slope, Alaska using 4 well clusters to drill more of 40 long extended wells.

Drilling Superintendent, Agip Oil Ecuador (Eni)

Planning a Sidetrack on existing well using a 750 HP up-graded Workover rig and Rotary Steerable System (Geo-pilot) for 8 ” hole section, with Oil Base Mud and Cutting Dryer System.

Carry out supervision of Amazon rain forest heli-transportable drilling operations for Agip Oil Ecuador (1 development well + 2 semi-explorative horizontal extended well, 10,000’ TVD/16000ft MD) from head office and field using individuals contracts (15). Continue using current technology as Oil Base Mud, M-10 cutting dryer system, Heli- transportable 2000 HP Drilling Rig, Rotary Steerable tool for 8 ” and 6” hole section, Utilization of casing drive system to run casing until 12,000 ft TVD depth. Testing new application as oil-based drilling mud, Electronic Auto driller, new bits design. Continue checking and approval invoices.

Involve in fishing operations to clean out 12,000 ft TVD of fiber glass, inside a 7” casing and making its repair with a casing patch and several fishing operations. April 2004 to September 2005

Workover Supervisor and Drilling Engineer, Agip Oil Ecuador B.V. (Eni) As Drilling Engineer my duties were: Planning, Design, Evaluation, and Supervision of the construction of one exploratory heli- transportable platform to four wells capacity in the jungle.

Supervising the refurbishment and the mobilization of a Workover Rig from Santa Cruz

(Bolivia) to CPF in Agip Base on Ecuador. Working as Workover Supervisor of the Agip Rig 105 of 750 hp, rigging up the rig the location and making different workover jobs such as perforate and re-perforate new intervals with TCP guns on under-balance, acid jobs with Inflatable “Tam” packers, changing ESP on 13%-Cr tubing with premium connection and, change of Sump Packers. Other work less rig as acids job with coiled tubing. All those works were done without any accidents.

April 1998 – June 2000

Drilling Engineer Development Program, ARCO (Ecuador) Working on rotational basis (4 weeks at office/ 3 week at rig site/ 1 week off). Regular office duties included: well tracking, days and cost curves, well problem diagrams, data base, directional survey calculations and plots. Some other more project oriented accomplished were: preparation of end of well programs, well programs, Well Drilling Permits, well handover sheets, Well Drilling Summary and miscellaneous drilling studies upon request. The office duties have included more contract oriented jobs such as Material Requests, Field Service Orders, and Contract Amendments.

Rig site duties included preparation of AM Reports, Cost Reports, Casing and Cementing Report, LOT test forms, Bit Records, Cementing and Tally Calculations and observed all services and operations as the following:

Fly Rig with helicopters from CPF to Villano Pad.

Drilling directional and horizontal producers and injectors wells. Used of Synthetic Oil Base Mud.

Thermal Desorption Units for Synthetic Base Mud cuttings. Run Casing and Liners of Fiber Glass and Chrome.
