Field Service IT Tech/Exchange Migration Engineer (IT Contractor) Provided all the needed field technical hands on customer service for an Army DoD Enterprise email box provision project. Traveled 100% to CONUS and stood ready for any OCONUS Army bases. Job entails migrating all existing non-deployable email services into the DoD Enterprise Email Service. The DoD Enterprise Email Service is based on Microsoft Exchange 2010 running inside a DoD Active Directory (AD) forest based on Microsoft Server 2008 R2. My effort is primarily focused on migrating mailboxes from the source to the destination using the Enterprise Directory Service Provisioning Tool (EDS-P) (an internally developed migration tool). This effort also include: coordination and documentation supporting integration efforts with several departments.
