KDD is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Food and Beverage products in the Arabian Gulf.Its the longest established, most diversified and most innovative dairy in the region.KDD is independently running an inhouse Chemical Waste Water Treatment Plantwith a Treatment capacity of 140 M3/Hour.

Key Result Areas

•Instructs and Assists Lab Technicians:for Analysing the samples of the Open cooling water systems, Closed cooling water systems ( Chillers), Streams, Raw and Treated Waste water, Sludge and other bye products of Effluent Water Treatment for Chemical Parameters given by Public Authority of Industries ( PAI ), Kuwait.

•Plan and initiate chemical preparation and perform lab analysis deemed necessary for the plant smooth operation and work closely with chemical department. safe completion of chemical preparation, loading and unloading of chemicals.

•Reviews all chemical usage to determine correct chemical dosing and application points and carryout necessary tasks related to Chemical and water analysis based on process requirement.

•Instructs the Lab Technicians for Preparing and standardarsing routine Laboratory reagents.

• Monitoring of Process parameters, online instruments and individual system performances through SCADA system and initiate necessary action.

•Responsible for Operarion and Calibration of various Lab Instruments like Spectro-photometer, Density meter, pH meter, Conductivity meter, Turbidity meter etc.

•Organises, Plans and Collection of data from various units of the plant and Feed it in IBM- Maximo and Generates Statistical graphs to observe Trends and Advices Production department for adjustments if any.

•Maintaining the Stock of Chemicals and Additives used in cooling systems, Effluent Treatment plant and Laboratory.

•Interacts with the Vendors and Coordinates all maintainence related activities.

• Responsible to comply with and monitor implementation of ISO 9001-2000 in both Effluent Treatment plant and Laboratory.

• Evaluates if any non-confirmance reports submit by Auditors and Generates reports for Correctives actions.

• Ensure that the Effluent tankers leaving KDD premises for further treatment are upto Public Authority for Industries ( PAI ) regulations.
