At(CERN)Summer of 2014 our main goal was the validation of Simulations on the ALICE experiment during the long Shut down process. Each of the four experiments (ALICE) being one, along the Large Hadron Collider(LHC)is filled with many Detector systems.

•ALICE Experiment - Researched & calibrated two main electromagnetic detectors the EMCAL to the new DCAL

•Encrypting C++ code with Linux, Aliroot as program maintenance and simulations, and histograms.

•Attended meetings with lead nuclear engineers, conferences, and collaborated through closed group emails. collaborated with researchers at Laurence Livermore National Lab and CERN.

•optimizing the design parameters of the T0-Plus detector, such as the size and segmentation of the radiator or the number of modules and geometry of the array.

•Analyzed experimental data with reconstructed simulation. (Geant4)

•Installed fibrotic leads into photon detectors and tested for electrical connections 300 meters below ground level.

•Continued research, and simulations in the Physics Lab at CSU until graduation and senior thesis presentations.
