1.Worked in TVM Hospital, Konni, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India - 689691 as a Staff Nurse in Medical Ward from 1st June 2015 to 5th Mar 2016.
2.Worked in Yenepoya Medical College, Derlakatte, Mangalore, Karnataka, India - 575018 as a Staff Nurse in Medical ICU from 4th March 2013 to 13th May 2015.
The Yenepoya Medical College has a 929 bedded state of art ultra modern hospital providing general and specialist healthcare. It caters to the health care needs of the regions of Dakshina Kannada & Northern Kerala. The services are provided at heavily subsidized rates and totally free to the poor and deserving
patients.

Providing direct patient care in emergency conditions.
Interpreting clinical results and initiating investigations.
Providing clinical support and training to staff and students.
Ensuring that accurate documentation and administrative records are kept.
Making sure equipments are clean and safe to use.
Regularly undertaking management of unit under the supervision of senior staff.
Preparing nursing care plans.
Teaching patients how to maintain health at home.
Creating a welcoming, caring and safe environment for patents and their families.
Prepare and check the I.C.U supply.
Keep the I.C.U neat and tidy.
Receive the patient to the I.C.U for their treatment.
Check the vital signs of the patients.

Helps Doctor in Diagnosis and treatment.
If the patient comes in critical stage meet the emergency in a skilled way.

Maintain public relation with patient and relatives.
Maintaining patient airway – performance tracheal, oral and nasal suctioning as required.
Adequate chest physiotherapy to mobilize the secretions. Two hourly changes of positions, giving steam.
Inhalation, mobilization, administering oxygen.
Assessing physical, psychological needs of the client. Collection of personal, social, medical and general data by interviewing formally and informally during various nurse client interactions, observations, review of records, diagnostic tests etc.
Monitoring vital signs of the client, Meeting hygienic needs of the patient (mouth care, hair bath and sponge bath).
Dressing (e.g. bedsore, surgical wound), Maintaining records and reports.
Providing health information to the client and family.
Emergency patient care – Resuscitating during cardiac and respiratory arrest.
Pressure Monitoring using NBP connected to bed side monitor of transport monitors, Monitoring and blood glucose values.
Hourly maintaining a bypass chart of chest tube drainage.
Administering drugs all route, care of dangerous drugs and their records.
Doing admission, discharge and transfer of patient, Monitoring Glasgow coma scale.
Meeting nutritional and elimination needs.
Inserting nasogastric tube, giving nasogastric feed, Administration of enema suppositories, Urinary Catheterization.
Assisting for various procedures such as :
Endotracheal intubation, Femoral dialysis catheterization, Lumbar puncture, Central venous catheterization, Bone marrow aspiration, Haemo dialysis, ICD insertion & Pleural aspiration.
Monitoring Fluid – Electrolyte balance.
Performing procedures such as:
Ryle’s tube insertion, Administration of medicines (oral and injection), Venipuncture, Oxygen therapy, Transfusions and infusion therapy, Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, ECG, Dressing, First aid of patient in cardiac arrest, Cardio version, Defibrillation & Jet Nebulizer.
