December 2013 to till date working with Sizzle Properties Private Limited in Bangalore as a CSR Manager heading their corporate social responsibilities related to health, education and environment through BIRDS NGO.

January 2008 to November 2013 – Make-A-Wish Foundation of India an International NGO in Bangalore as a Divisional Coordinator – Programmes in India.

Part of a team of 6 worked for planning, designing, developing education materials, implementing and evaluation of Education, Health, Environment and Livelihood programmes, Supportive education in Rural & Urban India.

We worked in the field of education through initiation of NFE, DCC and Supportive Education centers in the entire slums of Koramangala for educating the slum children. We worked for formation of self help groups through involving our NFE, DCC and Supportive education centre parents and provide vocational training programmes to the whole pool of community.

Worked for Vocational training programme through planning, designing, developing education materials, implementing and evaluation of the training programme in collaboration with the Jana Shikshan Samsthan funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development.

September 2006 – April 2007 NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences) – Department of Health Education in collaboration with University of California and Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai – Research Officer.

1.Involved in the Research study on “HIV/AIDS Stigma Gender and Health consequences in Urban India.”

2.Developed research education materials, conducted research interviews with General Population and Health care workers.

3.Maintenance of financial report research study.

4.Conducted health education training programmes for health care workers.

5.Data compilation, analysis and evaluation of the research study.

May 2005 – August 2006 Centre for Environment Education in Karnataka Collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Forests and UNICEF – Project Associate.

International Conferences

Organized and worked as a reporter for an International Youth conference organized by Centre for Environment Education in Collaboration with BAYER, UNEP and Ministry of Environment and Forests (TUNZA), where 93 youths participated from 66 countries of the world, from 12th to 18th of October 2005.

Goals and Achievements

In Lorven Education Centre Camp representative for Community Development project under the guidance of Prof. H.M.Marulasiddaiah, Indian Institute of Social Sciences.

Conducted 10 days rural community camp in one adopted village to our college Rajapura through awareness programmes on law, human resource management, fundamental rights and duties, health and hygiene issues and deaddiction camp.

In Spandana Nursing Home and Spandana Residential Home, under the guidance of Psychiatric Social Worker Mr.Umesh Karanth and Dr.M.Shrinivas.

Conducted 25 teachers training workshops and 26 children camps on water, health and sanitation issues through SWASTHH Plus project of UNICEF & TSC project.

COMMUNITY

Social Organisation: Being in the organizing of a Club: NIRATANKA Vocational, health and income generating Training programmes to unemployed youths and women groups. Edited few articles published in Social Work monthly magazine “Samaja Karyada Hejje Gurutugalu.

Also being in the Garment working womens union movement in organized and unorganized sectors by NIPM Organisation since August 2007.
