1995-Present - Wallen & Associates
Accountant/Financial Analyst –Provided accounting, forecasts, ROI analysis and capital budgets for purchase proposals for State funding and owners. Provided financial assistance to individuals and families, creating budgets and assisting in finding ways to meet those budgets and saving for emergencies and retirement.

Online Accounting and Finance Instructor – Teach Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Accounting and Finance.
2009 – 2011- HSBC
Disbursement Accountant – Paid different firms for maintaining foreclosed and Real Estate Owned Properties. Responsible for Wire Transfers, Stop Payments and Voided checks. Disbursements processes $75 million in payments annually.
2009 – (May through November) Bank of America
Mortgage Customer Assistance – Provided accounting assistance to over 15 million mortgage holders with education and explanations, payments, escrow, taxes, insurance, payoffs, refunds, credit, refinance, loss mitigation, documentation, lien releases, and any other mortgage issues that they may have.
2003 - February, 2009 – KidCare & Associates
Accountant – Performed all A/P and A/R., billing, receivables, and claims. Used EZ-EI software and Excel spreadsheets for reports. Billed over six million dollars annually.
2002-2003 - Parker Jewish Geriatric Center
Accountant –Performed all cash and banking reporting, daily use of Chase Link, wire transfers, worked with payroll department and ADP to enter payroll into system, reconciled all benefits and taxes, produced and analyzed financial statements, tracked budget to actual and took steps to correct with individual departments. Performed special assignments. Responsible for major portions of annual cost reports. Medicaid and Medicare, endowments, investments, cash flow and management, abandoned property. Developed credit card payment system. Assisted in annual audit. Assisted in annual cost reports. $100 million per year.
1998 – 2002 Maimonides Medical Center
Accountant - Assisted in creating the $500,000,000 annual budget. Responsible for reconciling bank accounts. Worked on the trial balance and assisted in producing annual financial statements. Approved all purchase orders, monitored and reported on capital projects, accounted for all benefits, prepaid accounts, credit card deposits, and abandoned property, and the annual budget. Responsible for monitoring and reconciling 53 accounts in the G/L. Successfully worked with and directed Accounts Payable, Payroll, and all other finance departments throughout hospital, to ensure all reporting requirements met. Worked with the Ernst & Young Auditing team each year. Collected, posted, and deposited $40-50 million per month. This included refunds, adjustments, third party contracts, checks, and electronic transfers, and the collection of $30 million per year using 10 collection agencies. Controlled and monitored collection efforts on over $50 million. Responded to Medicaid and Medicare audits, saving the hospital millions of dollars. Recorded/reported bad debt and abandoned property to meet all government requirements.

Sales Accountant – Sold recycling equipment by demonstrating cost savings of equipment.
1988 – 1995 Almeda Manufacturing Company
Accountant – Worked with the Controller on all facets of accounting, banking, and cash management. Journal entries to annual audited financial statements. This was a $3-5 million per year corporation.
