Developed a CAD model using SolidWorks and performed a Structural Mechanical Analysis. Tested the reliability of the structure, electronics, and controls.
UCI DESIGN BUILD FLY, Wing and Testing Team Member September 2013 – April 2014
Collaborated with 50 team members to design, build, and fly an optimal aircraft for the 2014 AIAA DBF competition, earning 2nd place out of 80 teams during the event. Ran a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on the motor mount. Assisted with test flying and wings construction, increasing strength and reducing the weight of the overall plane.
UCI PNEUMATIC ROBOT, Team Member April 2013 – June 2013
Teamed with 5 engineering students to design, construct, and program a robotic vehicle to move to a target location, placing 5th out of 45 teams in the UCI King of the Anthill Robot competition.
