WORK SCOPE

discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.

interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedure.

interpret the results of all methods of non-destructive testing(NDT) such as electromagnetic, leak, liquid penetrate, radiographic, ultrasonic etc.

prepare result on NDT testing.

WORK SCOPE

Checking of pipe drawings, knowing the items, description and material specification.

Checking of weld gap analysis to know the entire weld joints with the appropriate Wps.

Checking of welding procedure specification

Checking of inspection and test plan.

Ensuring that wps corresponds with the drawings.

Checking of pipe diameter, pipe number, heat number and material specification.

Ensuring that the bevel ends of the pipes are thoroughly clean.

Ensuring that welder ID Card and number is valid before production welding.

Checking weld joint preparation, fit up, alignment using hi low guage.

Ensuring that required preheat is done to avoid hydrogen cracking as per specification and drawings.
