Associate Director Creative Services 2006-2015
•Initiated online catalog of all products and dosing. This was available to all sales and field reps. Productivity for sales reps needing to show product went from 3 days to instantaneous, increasing sales.
•Reduced amount of tradeshow booth costs by 50% identifying options and using custom pieces on rental units. Assigned increasing responsibility for trade booth event with triple the budget as a result of previous cost savings.
•Developed brand standards; following CGMP, FDA standards; with the IP department and field sales, which gave control on all levels of consistent product branding. This was to be added into the SOP.
•Customers complained the newly purchased Brands looked old fashioned and the patients and Docs were turned off by the "look". Redesign of the first half of the Brands that resulted in National award for packaging on one package, and submission is started for the second award.
•Developed a quarterly newsletter to improve company feedback after low surveys. Feedback on company improved when employees saw articles on themselves and the company.
•Developed distributed monthly gallery report. This touted department projects. More important it taught different divisions (domestic and Global) new promotional ideas and received commendation from Executive board.
•Spending over $100K on photography and still not covering our need. Trained point person to use digital camera for products and events, estimate saving easily over $500K yearly in photography, receiving honorable photography mentions.
•Devised detailed interdepartmental FDA proof checking QA system. Met with various departments, identified their needs and our improvement. Set up a complete system reducing approval time as much as 40%.
•Received an award from international printer that my new 'second eye" system for checking and rechecking was so thorough they no longer had to prepress check our files.
•When I came on board I noticed hundreds of packages and labels were created in an unusable program. I changed over to newer Illustrator program, increasing productivity 25%, and ceasing printer fee to correct problem. Promoted.
Senior Manager 2002-2005
•Implemented first formal back up system in department nightly, creating flawless storage system of art. Cut loss of files to zero and created instantaneous "find" system.
•Researching combo runs with printers, learned to run smaller projects piggyback with larger clients. This lowered print runs pricing 25-50% and allowed rush jobs.
•Marketplace change resulted in change over of tuck boxes to glue immediately. Put together plan and created new glue dies and finished ahead of schedule.
•Ordered new $60K printer to support Brand department to raise output and raise quality of prints. This eliminated outside match prints lowering cost from $200 each to 20 cents more than paying for the printer.
•Asked to produce Canadian office launch promotional pieces for before year-end, in addition to regular workload. Added website, displays and event towers on time and successfully.

•Discovered an FDA deadline looming from previous management, changing over approx. 2,000 labeling pieces in less than one year. Implemented a plan completed 4 months earlier than FDA needed. Promoted.
Manager 1999-2001
•Company wanted to start art department so brought me in and grew department from 1 employee to 13. Grew 3 individual labels to 60 products with multiple skus.
•VP Head of Division seriously hurt, quitting, leaving me to develop department growth plan (how I saw new products to come in-house) and pitching business to new clients. Reported directly to CEO.
•Set up inter-site routing approval system for packaging and labels with standardized template system for each sku, which after approval was applied quickly to each client art. Cut presentation to client time by 75%.

SENIOR DESIGNER
Implemented proofing system; for lead designs, this eliminated the error of carton trashing on launches saving the company hundreds of thousands in launch loss and delay.
Assigned as team leader to CVS a lost client, and redesigned their OTC line. Their reestablished confidence in this artwork won the client back for the company as their largest client.

Placed on team for Zantac promotions team to the field. Eliminated expensive short run printing for display mockups by mounting digital oversized prints, saving thousands with quicker comp samples to rush to the field.

and received commendations on handling million dollar promotions.
