The Business working Group developed a Proof of Concept for the CCW.

The main aim of this project is to load the data into the CCW from different source systems of clinical data related to lab and biometrics. The source systems providing the data to CCW Daily, weekly and Monthly of files and different databases. Single View of Customer (Svoc):

The main aim of this project is to have a single view of customer data. Current system of Specsavers includes loading of customer data onto a database from every retail store system and also from web in a region (UK) on a daily basis. This process causes a lot of scope for customer data redundancy in database and also the maintenance cost when campaigns executed as the de duplication is not handled. Present system uses OEDQ (Oracle Enterprise Data Quality) tool for data cleansing and IIR (Informatica Identity Resolution) to do de dup check and load customer data into OCH (Oracle Customer Hub). Campaign related details will be loaded in Siebel CRM. OBAW tables will be loaded through Informatica mappings and DAC from OCH and Siebel. OBIEE will be used for generating reports.

SwissRe is world’s Second largest Reinsurance company based in Switzerland. SwissRe implemented the HCMS project to maintain the world wide employees and their activities. HR data gets loaded from five legacy systems(REBUS,ULTIPRO,ZURICH,PSASIA and MUNICH) using ETL tool Informatica 8.6 to SAP ECC system. BI system gets data from ECC system to feed the HR reports. The project has an Incident management tool Solution Manager where developers gets the tickets to resolve and update the progress in the tool. Enhancements come as Change Requests (CR) and it contains the business requirement and functional test cases would be given by the requestor. The developer has to prepare the proposed solution, technical specifications, estimations and test cases in the same document to get the business sign-off. Implementation would be started upon business approval. Enhanced objects will be transported to respective target systems(QA or Prod) upon business approval. The transport system is integrated with Solution Manager Tool.
