Erica Dudley was employed by Take-off Data, Inc. from May, 2000 until December 31, 2011.

During the eleven years, Erica spent the majority of her time on the company’s computer network, downloading massive files of Architectural plans, specifications, and addenda.

Once downloaded, Erica, along with her co-workers, went through plumbing, electrical, and HVAC sections to identify and list materials specified on construction projects. She then uploaded her reports to the company website for subscribing manufacturers, wholesale supply houses, and sales organizations to view. She printed, bound, and shipped tens of thousands of reports to customers choosing to receive hardcopies.

She interacted daily by phone, fax, and email with customers throughout the southeast with questions or requests for other projects.

For the eleven years, Erica was unique in that she typically chose to “receive vacation pay” in lieu of actually taking her vacation time. She was a “super reliable” hard worker with much patience and little need for supervision or motivation. I suppose she might have, but as her immediate supervisor, I do not recall her taking a sick day off during the eleven years.

A drastic downturn in construction forced many of Take-off Data Inc.’s customers to close over the past three years. Take-off Data, Inc. officially shut down December 31, 2011 and will not re-open… thus Erica’s need for a new career.

I cannot speak more highly of a co-worker of eleven years. If I needed just one worker with Erica’s qualifications and experience, I would choose her.

Erica Dudley worked at Sunday Dinner and C & J Food Market for more than seven years. Erica began her employment as an entry-level cashier. After one year, she was promoted to assistant manager. In that position, she reported to me and managed the work and performance of four employees.

Erica is a bright and personable individual. She is highly self-motivated and well capable of achieving any goal she sets her mind to. Erica’s quick promotion to assistant manager is an example of that. She learned new technologies promptly and applied them in her daily work. Sunday Dinner employees soon perceived Erica as a valuable resource and looked to her for innovative direction of our daily operations.
