Plant Manager, M-D Building Products 2013-Current
Managing Daily Plant Operations that included aluminum and plastic extrusion, anodizing, powder coating, metal fabrication and consumer packing.
Building bench strength throughout the plant operations team to better service a more diverse customer base. Three shifts with over 360 employees, eight direct reports and a 16 million pay roll.
Cut aluminum scrap a million dollars and lowered standard cost by 1.5 million by establishing processes, setting up metrics and accountability.
Building a good team of managers by recruiting and getting people in the right seat on the bus.
Developed a quality/lean program to help close the cycle of improvement and eliminate waste.
Implemented incentives and goals to give team members focus on the right targets.
Reduced temporary labor in plant by two-thirds.
Production increase of 40% since 2013 in the OKC plant. Responsible for the manufacturing success of the shower door program for The Home Depot (Delta label).
Product Manager/Technical Operations, Gemini Coatings 2010-2012
Directed the R&D/Quality Assurance Departments.
Given the responsibility to rebuild a depleted department after years of neglect.
Hired/Replaced the Lab Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, two Formulation Chemist, Analytical Chemist and two technicians.
Expanded the analytical program to include a GCMS with pyrolysis for identifying variations in raw materials and finished goods in the lab and production process.
Suggested and initiated product consolidation while working with sales and marketing.
Director of Operations, Gemini Coatings 2002-2010
Created a multi-year business plan to expand Gemini’s operations through physical modifications and team building and talent recruitment.
Responsible for daily operations, planning and execution of all goals for Gemini’s manufacturing division for the production of solvent based wood coatings
Designed and implemented a 20% warehouse expansion and developed a 5-10 year plan for 100% growth.
Investigated, planned and executed a robotic labeling and palletizing line that handles 85% of the volume in one and five gallon containers produced in Oklahoma (2.7 million gallons a year).
Suggested/initiated the acquisition of a building for corporate offices with oversight of complete remodel.

Developed an Access program to log and search all test records that is still used today.
