Oil & Gas Division –

Prepared letter agreements and JOA for partners participating in wells to be drilled. Created AFEs along with monthly comparisons to assure wells being drilled were on budget. Sent out Division orders and monitored return from WI, RI and ORRI.

Setup accounting software program from the ground up making sure all revenue, expenses decks, and ownership percentages were correct.

Reviewed all revenue and expenses entered by employees and approved monthly JIBs that went out to over 100+ WI owners. Reviewed and approved 200+ working interest and Royalty owners’ revenue checks.

Prepared financial statements to include Balance Sheets, P&L, General Ledger and other management reports. Completed bank reconciliations; and collect on overdue accounts. .

Real Estate Division –

Setup QuickBooks for 8 separate real estate partnerships. Entered 3 years of back data for all 8 partnerships to find problems from former employees. Found the company over $1.5 million in missed rent bumps and incorrect CAM billings. Sent corrected financials to CPA so that tax returns could be amended. Prepared all monthly closing entries, bank reconciliations and month end reports. Calculated management fees and lease commissions.

Reconciled past and current CAM for all 8 properties, billed out corrected amounts to tenants.
