PROJECT WORK:

a.Study on Variable Specific Impulse Magneto Plasma Rocket (VASIMR) & its future scope.

This project deals with the understanding of VASIMR and its future scope. VASIMR is an electromagnetic thruster for spacecraft propulsion.

Some of its applications are:

* Lunar cargo delivery

* Satellite repositioning, refueling, maintenance and repair

* Ultra-fast deep space robotic missions

* VASIMR technology would reduce the travel time on a Mars mission from 2.5 years to 5 months.

b.Study on Magnetic Levitation Technology (MAGLEV).

This study is about the general design & future scope of MAGLEV. It is a transport method that uses magnetic levitation to move vehicles without touching the ground. With Maglev, a vehicle travels along a guideway using magnets to create both lift and propulsion, thereby reducing friction by a great extent and allowing very high speeds.

c.Constructed RC-Plane using balsa wood in Aero-modeling and Mini Hovercraft on Science day project.
