CORPORATE CREDIT-ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE MANAGER

* Maintain and help enforce company credit and collections policies and procedures.

* Review credit information for new and existing customers to make credit determinations on new credit lines and increasing existing lines when needed while mitigating negative exposure using multiple tools to include commercial and/or personal credit reports, review of company financials to determine relevant ratios, strong internet searches as well as thorough review of history on existing customer accounts.

* Responsible for assisting our AVP of Credit & Controls with all Cash Team functions at our national trade/educational shows.

* Responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing cash projections forecast as well as DSO and A/R reports/stats to manage customer portfolios worth millions in order to meet and exceed company objectives for DSO and bad debt.

Responsible for assisting with bad debt reserves which I submit and review with our AVP of Credit & Controls annually.

Responsible for working with internal auditors to assure company as well as SOX compliance.

* Work closely with our AVP of Credit & Controls on our collections/A/R to provide an up-to-date status report monthly to include problem accounts.

* Responsible for negotiating reasonable payment plans with delinquent customers.

* Responsible for monitoring/managing all Cash Department functions with our Cash Team Lead to include timely posting of lockboxes, deposits, ACH transaction files, credit card transactions/disputes/programs, incoming/outgoing wire transfers and bank reconciliations.

* Responsible for maintaining list of credit risk customers as well as delinquent collection accounts which I transfer out as a very last resort to outside collection agency or attorney that I communicate with regularly and also receive/review monthly status reports from agency.

* Responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing A/R aging reports in order to manage customer portfolio worth millions for our domestic and international customers to meet and exceed company objectives for DSO, cashflow, and bad debt.

Responsible for determining bad debt reserves which I submit and review with our V.P. of Finance.

Responsible for managing the OTC (order to cash) process to ensure accurate timely billing of orders and collections.

* Responsible for preparing and submitting financial reports to Vice President of the company.

* Responsible for setting up special job accounts when needed for our customers that require interpreting contracts & extensive knowledge in Construction or Mechanic’s Lien Law for several states such as Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia to file Notice to Owners, work with bonding/bonds and liens as necessary when payments have not been received on balances due.

* Work closely with VP of Finance on our collections to provide an up-to-date status report monthly to include problem accounts.

* Responsible for processing credit card payments using machine terminals or software and working closely with credit card companies on dispute or chargeback issues.

* Responsible for maintaining list of credit risk customers as well as delinquent accounts which I transfer out as a very last resort to outside collection agencies or attorneys which I communicate with regularly to inquire on payment resolution.

* Responsible for processing end of month closing for A/R.

* Responsible for analyzing and reserving bad debt allowance as well as determining losses and bad debt write-offs.
